Strong winter sports season

2024-11-18T10:07:18-05:00

The winter sports season has come to an end at Atlantis, and it was a great one for both the boys and girls varsity basketball teams. The girls’ varsity team showed great improvement over last season, finishing this season with a 6-7 record, one win shy of making the state tournament. “Our girls remembered a lot of the principles we implemented during the 2018-2019 season,” said Coach Nathan Mello. “We hope to continue to build a program based on discipline and dedication. Next season we will be excited to continue to build on our success from this season.” Coach Mello credits [...]

Atlantis’s Field of Dreams

2024-11-18T10:07:18-05:00

The leaves are falling, the temperatures are dropping, and the first flakes of snow are even flying. Spring sports are probably the last thing on your mind. But not at Atlantis. We’re thinking about baseball, softball, and our new Field of Dreams. Since planning began for our new campus, we made it a priority to give our students the sports and recreational facilities we were unable to provide at our old school buildings. And so far, we have delivered on those promises, building a new gymnasium and a state-of-the-art track and field complex, giving our sports teams home field advantage for the [...]
