New Video Wall Makes a Bold Statement in Upper School "The kids love seeing their pictures up there," said IT Manager Mike Dauphin, referring to the school's new video wall. Standing 9 feet tall and 16 feet wide, it is the crowning jewel of the Upper School cafeteria. Community School Supply Drive

Atlantis students began the school year with new supplies thanks to a generous donation from the community. Kim Silva of Rose Home Real Estate/Laer Realty Partners, Tom Lambert of AccuTrust Mortgage and Sandra Letendre of BayCoast Bank stopped by campus before the start of school to drop off supplies and a check they had collected for Atlantis students. New Cell Phone Policy at Upper School

Atlantis Upper School implements Yondr to address cell phone usage during the school day “Students were constantly trying to go online during class. It was kids on Snapchat, kids on TikTok, kids texting each other. It was a big-time distraction,” said high school environmental science teacher David Roache. Students Get a Lesson in Leadership

Atlantis summer program offers Leadership Academy for students in grades 6-8 Rising sixth grader Jenayra Tumax loves math, so when she was asked to come up with a math activity to do with first graders during Atlantis’s summer program she got right to work. She did some research and found an addition activity involving ladybugs. Flying Horses, Sandy Beaches, and New Friends: ACS Travel Club Visits the Vineyard   ACS Travel Club aboard SeaStreak Ferry on route to Martha’s Vineyard The day began early at the SeaStreak Ferry Terminal in New Bedford. 17 students and six chaperones boarded a ferry for a 45-minute ride to Martha’s Vineyard. Atlantis Internships Give Students Real-World Work Experience, Leading to Future Opportunities “I would like to work in a school district as a pediatric occupational therapist and work with kids with special needs,” said Sarah Moniz, a senior in the Medical Academy. Money Matters: Students Get a Lesson in Practical Money Skills  Imagine you're a 25-year-old professional making $45,000 per year. Using your monthly salary, savings, and credit cards, could you purchase everything you need to live as an adult? That was the challenge posed to Atlantis 11th and 12th graders during the Credit for Life Fair held on January 26 in the Upper School Student Center.
