Girls Varsity Volleyball Players Shine at MAC Classic
First, a huge congratulations to two of our standout Girls Varsity Volleyball players, Senior Lizbeth Perez and Freshman Zoe Ashford-Jackson. These two talented athletes were invited to participate in the prestigious Mayflower Athletic Conference Volleyball Classic at Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School last night. This marked our first-ever appearance at the MAC Classic, and Liz and Zoe made us proud!
Both players had fantastic performances. Zoe contributed with 2 blocks, 2 kills, and 2 aces, while Liz took on the role of the premier setter for her team, assisting on at least 30% of the winning points during the sets she played. Their teamwork and dedication helped their team secure a victory, and they were great ambassadors for Atlantis, representing our school with pride. Well done, Liz and Zoe!
Varsity Football: Last Game of the Regular Season!
Friday Night Lights are back at ACS! Our Varsity Football team is gearing up for their last regular season game against Monomoy High School this Friday, November 15th, at 6:00 pm. This is a big game, as a win will give the Tritons a winning record for the season!
Tickets are available at the gate: $5 for adults, $3 for students. We encourage all families, friends, and community members to come out and support our team in their final regular season showdown. Your energy and encouragement could be the key to helping the Tritons achieve a winning record this season. Let’s pack the stands and cheer them on!
Winter Sports Registration Open!
Looking ahead to the winter season? It’s time to register for Winter Sports! If you’re in grades 7-12 and interested in participating, be sure to sign up at www.arbitersports.com. Additionally, students must check with the school nurse to ensure their physical is up to date. Remember, No Physical = No Play.
Here are the Winter Sports available at ACS:
- Boys JV & Varsity Basketball
- Girls Basketball
- Wrestling (Club or Team, depending on participation)
- Winter Track (Club or Team, depending on participation) New this year!
- Winter Cheer (Tryouts are on Nov 26th from 3:00-5:00 pm)
For all sports except Cheer, tryouts begin on December 2nd, 2024. Coaches will hold sport-specific meetings, and the dates and times will be published soon. Stay tuned!
