Additionally, we will be holding a pep rally for our grade 3-6 students to get them excited and energized before their first MCAS Test session! Please continue to cheer them on and remind them about the importance of this assessment. Atlantis Charter School March Events and Holiday Updates
From the Dean of Students:
March is a great time to reflect on how much our students have grown this year! We are proud of their hard work and can’t wait to see their continued success. Thank you for being our partners in their learning journey! Here are some fun and educational activities for families to do from March–April:
- Spring Nature Walk & Scavenger Hunt – Take a walk in a park or around the neighborhood and look for signs of spring (flowers blooming, birds building nests, etc.). Create a simple checklist for kids to find different items! (Printable PDF Below)
- Backyard or Park Picnic – Pack a lunch, bring a blanket, and enjoy some family time outdoors. Bonus: Bring a book and have a “story picnic.”
- Start a Small Garden – Let kids plant easy-to-grow vegetables, flowers, or herbs. Watching their plants grow teaches patience and responsibility!
- Sidewalk Chalk Art & Games – Create a colorful masterpiece, practice spelling words, or play hopscotch together outside.
- DIY Bird Feeder – Use a pinecone, peanut butter, and birdseed to make a simple bird feeder. Hang it outside and observe the different birds that visit.
