Dear Atlantis Families,
Happy December! It is hard to believe we are already approaching the holiday season. The first few months of school have flown by, and it has been wonderful to see our students settle into their routines and engage in their learning.
As we enter this festive time of year, we have many exciting events happening within our school to celebrate our community spirit. We encourage all families to join in the fun where possible and help us finish the calendar year on a high note!
Kindergarten Hosts Their Own Macy’s Parade at Atlantis!
Just before Thanksgiving break, our Kindergarten students brought a little bit of New York City magic to Fall River with their very own ACS Macy’s Parade!
In the days leading up to the event, each student designed and created a colorful, balloon inspired by the iconic floats seen in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. From favorite characters to festive shapes, the hallways of the Lower School were filled with bright colors, big smiles, and the energy of young creativity.
On parade day, the Kindergarteners proudly marched through the Lower School, holding their handmade balloons high as classmates and teachers lined the halls to cheer them on. With music playing and excitement in the air, it truly felt like a celebration of imagination, joy, and community.
Events like this remind us of the wonder and spirit our youngest Tritons bring to Atlantis Charter School each day. We’re grateful to our Kindergarten team for creating such a memorable experience—and to our families for supporting the creativity that makes these moments possible.
