Many people feel overwhelmed when it comes to finding and picking the right path ahead. Our goal is to help simplify the application process for you and educate our students/families on what steps to take.

In this College Application document you will find information on; looking for schools, application requirements, and an overview of all things in the college application process.

Navigating College Applications during COVID-19

With the pandemic keeping our high school students virtual a few things have changed in regards to the college process. A few quick things to note about changes:

  • Colleges have been collectively saying they will review applications with SAT scores and without SAT scores THE SAME.
    • This is different than a No-Test Option at schools (usually NTO is only for a high GPA student)
  • A section has been added to the Common App to explain how COVID affected you and your school for your education
  • Colleges will be reviewing applications with a much more qualitative approach vs quanitative approach
    • They don’t know how you were scored during these virtual months
